Kiln Dried 22mm European Oak Boards - Character Grade, 224 Boards (0.82m3) - Pack nr S1001

Kiln Dried Oak board pack consisting of 224 Character grade European oak boards. Nearly a full M3 for the lowest imaginable price. 

Our boards are a mixture of both French and English oak depending on time of year and availability, they are completely interchangeable. There will also be pure English oak packs available at different times of the year as they become available. 

Character grade allows for knots and other oak defects with few limitations. Large unsound knots and splits that will affect the usability of the boards will be measured out along with any other split ends etc. A very cost effective way to buy Character grade European oak. 

These square edge boards are ripped prior to kilning, the edges will therefore not be completely true but perfectly acceptable for all planing and moulding requirements and can of course be straightened on a table saw if being used as unplaned boards. 

Please note that kiln dried boards are an unfinished item and will have various water and tannin marks that come from the sawing and drying processes. Planing, sanding and other finishing processes are required to remove these marks.
